Responsibilities of the Childcare Lawyer:
- Care proceedings
- Adoption
- Legal Aid applications
- Applications for secure accommodation
- Public law outline matters (PLO)
- Issues relating to the protection of children and young people
- Attending court to conduct advocacy
- Revoking placement orders
- Experience in childcare law is essential for this role
- Shows a strong work ethic
- Strong communication skills
- IT Proficient
- Highly organised with the ability to meet tight deadlines
- Salaries range depending on PQE but up to £58,000pa
- Targetless environment
