We are seeking an experienced Interim Service Manager to provide leadership and operational oversight for a specialist nursing service supporting adults with complex health needs. This is a pivotal role requiring a confident, solutions‑focused leader who can stabilise service delivery, support clinical teams, and drive quality improvements during a period of transition.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day‑to‑day operational management of a multidisciplinary nursing service.

  • Ensure safe, effective, person‑centred care in line with CQC standards.

  • Lead, support, and mentor clinical and non‑clinical staff.

  • Oversee safeguarding, risk management, and incident reporting processes.

  • Strengthen service pathways and ensure continuity of care for adults with complex needs.

  • Work closely with commissioners, partner agencies, and families.

  • Deliver performance reporting, compliance monitoring, and service improvement plans.



About You:

  • Registered Nurse (NMC) or equivalent senior management experience in complex care settings.

  • Proven track record in service leadership within health or social care.

  • Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and quality governance.

  • Able to quickly build trust, stabilise teams, and implement effective systems.

  • Confident communicator with a collaborative, hands‑on approach.
