A Quality Control Engineer with a manufacturing or engineering background involving complex electronic assemblies and with strong knowledge of quality management systems such as ISO 9001, will join the growing product development and manufacturing department of a cutting-edge Technical Consultancy.  Competitive salary up to C£60K + Hybrid model (3 days office / 2 WFH) with extensive benefits package on offer.

The ideal Quality Engineer will possess the following:

  • Proven experience of working within a manufacturing environment for complex electronic assemblies.
  • Experience with quality management systems such as ISO 9001 and configuration controlled environments.
  • The ability to apply specifications and quality requirements; to support root cause analysis and implement preventative actions.
  • Good documentation skills; the ability to manage multiple tasks and support continuous improvement activities.

This Quality Control Engineer role will involve:

  • Inspection of incoming goods to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Monitoring adherence to manufacturing quality processes and identifying problems.
  • Final inspection of outgoing products including associated documentation.
  • Ensuring configuration control compliance by verifying correct parts are built.
  • Supporting process development throughout the full manufacturing processes.
