Vehicle Technician

Our client, a reputable independent garage in Malvern, is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their dynamic workshop team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional looking for a stable, Monday-to-Friday role with ongoing training and development prospects.

Benefits:

• Basic salary between £32,000 and £35,000, with a realistic OTE of £40,000
• Monday to Friday working hours – no weekends
• Closed Saturdays and Sundays

Duties of a Vehicle Technician:

• Conducting vehicle servicing and routine maintenance
• Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults accurately
• Performing a range of repairs, from standard servicing to larger mechanical jobs
• Ensuring all work complies with manufacturer standards and quality expectations
• Working efficiently within a fast-paced workshop environment
• Maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction through quality workmanship

Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:

• Level 3 vehicle technician qualification preferred; Level 2 considered with strong experience
• MOT licence would be a significant advantage
• Experience from a fast-fit centre, independent garage, or main dealer environment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Good knowledge of current vehicle technology and repairs
